As with all Jo Malone fragrances, this one may be layered with different scents to create a bespoke perfume. Whilst considering which scents might work nicely, came across Rose Water & Vanilla. Not certain that it'd layer so nicely with the Rose & Oud. It sounds divine!
There are lots of various rose fragrances out there -- a few are sweet, a few are powdery and fussy, a few are clean and light -- however never have you encounter a rose heady fragrance so mysterious as Jo Malone's Velvet Rose & Oud! It's truly quite stunning. If Rose had an evil sister who lived in a turret within the middle of a dark forest, then this will be it.
